I went to see a doctor and she gave me some cream and antibiotics for my ingrown toenail. If after 3 to 4 days it still hurts, I gotta go back and maybe have surgery done. YUCK. It’s a bit swollen and there’s a slightly yellow part on my toe too. Buahaha. But I’ll be scared if I have to go for the surgery. I hate needles. Jingzhong was watching some ingrown toenail surgery on Sunday trying to freak me out. I’m scared of the injection but I would be more scared if I was to have surgery without it! -shudder-
I’m not supposed to walk too much. So it’s back to open-toed flats again. Sigh. I like those $85 sandals from Aldo. Every time I go back and look at them, they’re still $85. Is this the Great Singapore Sale or what?
As for exchange, we’ve finally gotten our airtickets (Singapore>Bangkok>Moscow>Almaty so let’s pray nothing happens in Bangkok while we’re transiting there) and most of our courses settled. Everyday I go to the KIMEP website to see if our other courses have been approved for registration. GRRR but now I am trying to call Kazakhstan and some guy that doesn’t seem to understand English picked up and he refuses to connect me to the person I want to speak to and he just hung up. Must he mumble so? Maybe the usual receptionist is having lunch or something so I’ll wait awhile.
Other than that, life has been okay, with dinners and docu in school and stuff like that. Time passes so quickly before you know it I’ll be on the plane to Kazakhstan and won’t be back for 5 months!
Okay, off to practise more Russian because well, I need to. Haha.
