The Start of The Decline

I met my Nanyang friends for dinner today. We went to Spizza!! YUM. Shared a Nadia and a Franca with Mandie. Mandie is going to tell me all about her trip to Russia and give me lists on what to eat and where to go! So exciting! =) And it was good to see Carol and Lyn. 

As usual our conversation covered many topics, but was full of fun and loads of laughter. Pot brownies, cellulite and stretch marks, dropping babies, coed dorms, Kazakhstan, perverted Italian men, hot Italian girls, Korea and plastic surgery (as long as Jeanne’s there this topic definitely comes up), tennis and Federer and him touching his hair in between points or SOMETHING like that, metabolism rates, how apparently women start declining at 25 but we must’ve started prematurely at 20, Russia, our good ol’ Nanyang days (of course!) and our good (and some not so good) ol’ Nanyang teachers and classmates.

My New Shoes

I decided I needed slip-on heels that weren’t too high, too formal, or too elaborate.

Thing is, I actually don’t have a plain pair of black heels for presentations because I always get distracted by the prettier, brighter coloured shoes. Jingzhong complains of this all the time. His argument, when I want to buy shoes, is always ‘You don’t even have a decent pair of black heels for presentations!’ Which, unfortunately, always works in deterring me from buying shoes. Like that bright pink pair at Topshop. If I had my way..

Anyway, I got these shoes because I thought they looked cute, with the heart and everything. I got them in Malaysia at only S$12 or something. I like them because they’re pretty simple but not as informal as flip flops!
