Yesterday was a busy day. We finally submitted our Kazakh visa application forms. The Kazakh dude was quite cool. Hahaha. Then I dropped by school with my dad to settle the loan agreement. Feels good to finally complete these tasks. Don’t have to worry about them anymore, hooray!
After that, Jingzhong and I went to FFT for a quick dinner where they said the food’ll take 15 minutes to get to us but at 5 minutes to 8 our food still wasn’t there! How did they expect us to finish eating our food AND get to our play in 5 MINUTES?!! And they hadn’t even finished cooking our food at that time!
The whole reason why we decided to stay and eat there is because they said we would get our food in 15 minutes, giving us enough time to finish it and get to the play. Furthermore, their register’s time is set 10 minutes fast (so they thought they were not THAT late in giving us our food) but Jingzhong paid with NETS and the NETS receipt showed the correct time. Doing charity is good, but even then you must have an acceptable level of service. If you’re going to take more than 40 minutes to cook our food, TELL US and we’ll just come back another time. Now, we won’t ever go back.
Sigh.
Anyway, as you can see from the title of this post, Jingzhong and I went to watch Own Time Own Target yesterday night. We had to watch it hungry! GRRRRR. Afterwards we went to eat bak chor mee yum. I love bak chor mee. I wonder what’s the first thing I’m going to start craving when I’m in Kazakhstan? Hmmm.
Jingzhong rented a manual car. It is very entertaining to watch him drive. It’s totally old school and reminds me of my dad driving in Australia when I was young.

Botak Boys
Anyway, OTOT was made up of two plays – Full Tank and Botak Boys. Full Tank was okay, pretty funny. But Botak Boys was much better and way funnier. Hahaha. Totally retarded. Jingzhong was whispering explanations throughout the play, but I more or less understood the lingo and everything. There was a lot of hokkien too but I roughly got the idea. If I didn’t understand then I’d just ask Jingzhong! We sat near Ivan Heng. Haha. You should hear him guffaw. HAHAHA! Like that.
Okay, I’m off to Arab St to get new crystals for my camera. I can’t stand it looking so normal and clean. See ya.
