11 November is Pepero Day in Korea! Peperos are like Pockys.. And the reason why 11 November is Pepero Day is because 11/11 look like Pepero sticks! When Jingzhong and I first heard that we couldn’t help burst out laughing, it’s so silly but yet so fun!
Our Korean friends told us that on Pepero Day, couples give peperos to each other, friends give peperos to each other, loads of cool, super special peperos are sold, there are huge pepero sticks..
It sounds like a really cute day to celebrate, but Jingzhong and Jing Liang think that maybe it’s all part of a (very successful) marketing gimmick of Lotte, the company producing peperos.
Oh well, doesn’t matter! Joo Ok gave me some yummy pepero sticks on Pepero Day, so I’m happy!
